Half Moon Bay
is located on the Pacific coast, about a half hour south of
San Francisco. Visitors come to visit the beaches and the
marina and to shop. Historic Main Street is the home of several
wonderful art galleries, as well as antique shops and boutiques
— mostly family-owned businesses. Nearby are more galleries
(about a dozen in all), hotels (including the Ritz Carlton),
B & Bs, and excellent restaurants.
