In the United State of America lies an elegant monument called St. Louis Gateway Arch. This served as a westward expansion for the place. This is in St. Louis, Missouri. It is one of the compositions of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. Among these are the St. Louis’ Old Courthouse, the Gateway Arch and the Museum of Westward Expansion. The St. Louis Gateway Arch was built on February 12, 1963. The construction was completed on the 28th of October, 1965. However, it took two years for the public to really see it. It was only opened on July 24, 1967. The signal for this was the completion of the trams. Over all, the building costed around 13 million dollars. There were bases, two of them, which are of equilateral triangles. These are of 54 foot-long sides. As for the top of the arch, it was 17 feet long. This was on the side.
